Currently on Emirates flight EK074, Charles de Gaulle to Dubai. Tonight I’ll fly from Dubai to Nairobi, landing at 7am East Africa Time.
I’M EN ROUTE BACK TO KENYA!!! I’ll be at Tenwek Hospital for about 6 weeks.
Serendipitously my best friends from my college study abroad were planning to reunite in France the last weekend of July. So I routed my connection through Paris and met them on the French seaside village of Biarritz for four days. AH-MAZING.
Not without a few hours in Paris of course..
Next, to the coast of France –
COVID restrictions definitely seem to have made international travel a bit more logistically complicated. Negative PCR test for some countries, proof of vaccination for others. Overall – totally doable.
Getting the opportunity to travel again after a long COVID year(+) — experiencing new places, new cultures, new people, new languages, new food… I LOVE IT. It’s a privilege for which I’m grateful! So thankful for all you smart people out there who invented the VACCINE!
